Abstraction
This collection gathers together books on abstract painting, photography and sculpture.

Appropriation
This range of titles takes us from Duchamps and his early readymades through twentieth century design to contemporary painting, photography, theory, politics and postmodern network culture.
Keld Helmer-Petersen
The Black Series
Keld Helmer-Petersen (1920–2013) was a Danish photographer who achieved widespread international recognition in the 1940s and 1950s for his abstract photographs.
The Black Series comprises three books made toward the end of his life. They were created by scanning negs, prints, drawings, objects, bits and pieces and then enlarging, stretching and cropping into graphic patterns.

Stephen Gill
Stephen Gill is a British photographer, who mainly draws inspiration from his immediate surroundings of inner city life in East London and more recently Sweden with an attempt to make work that reflects, responds and describes the times we live in. His work is often made up of long-term photo studies exploring and responding to the subjects in great depth.
Books are a key aspect to Gill's practice. He founded his own publishing imprint, Nobody Books, in 2005, "to exercise maximum control over the publication process of his books" and "to make the book a finished expression of the photographs, rather than just a shell to house them in".
As huge fans of Stephen's work, we are delighted to have five of his beautifully clothbound titles on offer here.
Rocket Gallery
Rocket Gallery, based in East London, was established in 1994 by Jonathan Stephenson. It has forged an international reputation for its particular vision of minimalist painting and sculpture, colour photography, and functional design.
Here we gather together books published by the gallery and books about Rocket Gallery artists

Pattern
