Prix Pictet: power/disorder/ten (3-volume set)

Prix Pictet invites artists to tackle multi-faceted themes on the topic of sustainability. During its first decade, some 4,200 photographers presented over 28,000 images to the jury, and the public enjoyed 92 exhibitions in 40 cities across the world. Each of the seven cycles unearthed powerful images that speak to today's vast environmental, societal, and cultural challenges.

Readers embark on a poignant visual journey through a carefully curated selection of compelling images, venturing into a world defined by our complex relationship with our environment. In its sixth cycle since inception in 2008 the Prix Pictet turned a spotlight onto the theme of Disorder. This attracted a remarkably diverse range of works by artists who confront us with the many facets of Disorder - from the failure of nation states and civil unrest to the devastation we have visited upon the climate and the natural world.
