German artist Lin May Saeed (b. 1973) grapples with the complex entanglements of humans and animals. Her work centres on the nonhuman animal and revisits, revises, or outright invents stories of animal subjugation, liberation, and harmonious cohabitation with humans, combining historical, mythical, and theological narratives with materials such as paper, steel, and Styrofoam. Empathy, humour, and lightness of touch combine with a radical reimagining of everyday life and a sense of how animality is intertwined with otherness.

Amazing range of books & great service!!!

Books About Art have so many wonderful books!!! I was worried at first, since I'm a bit of a bookworm, that they'd only have big glossy "coffee-table" style books - you know the type, just with big arty photos? (Which are fine, if they're what you're into!!!) But no, they have plenty of great books you can actually READ!!!

This is such a rich and detailed book. The examples here are wide ranging and really document an amazing journey of graphic design through the ages. It is really well printed and presented. An absolute feast for the eyes! (Plus it'll bring back a lot of memories)
